Coogee is a buzzing beachside suburb; no longer a sleepy town in the winter, it has a solid demand year round. Coogee is home to many young people including those fresh off the plane, young families, retirees, downsizers and everyone in between. It is hard not to love life in Coogee. A few of my favourite things about Coogee:

  • The very obvious Coogee to Bondi walk, or run. It is 6km of pure beauty, albeit very hilly. When you are having a bad, a good day, or catching up with friends, the walk allows you to have a complete reset. Check out Jesse’s shop along the way for a cool drink (if Council haven’t shut him down).

  • The location; an express bus in and out of the CBD takes 40mins, yet you can live on a beach, with a great range of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

  • Trenerry Reserve which is a large off lead dog area, with a fantastic view over the ocean.

  • If you’re not a fan of big commercial gyms, then the Coogee Diggers gym is worth your consideration

  • It is hard to go past a nice afternoon balcony session at the Coogee Pavilion
